A Lack of Effective Communication in an Organization

A lack of effective communication is a problem for an organization, and five solutions were offered to improve organizational behaviors and help employees succeed in their performance. A measurement plan for such ideas as a communication strategy, an open-door policy, rules for fair communication, regular meeting scheduling, and role distribution is necessary to ensure business goals are achieved. It is not enough to present a solution but to measure its effectiveness and clarify whether it works or not for a particular organization.

The development of a communication strategy underlines the importance of listening and talking with respect and using body language and writing skills to deliver information. The strategy is discussed, applied, and sent via email to inform each worker individually. Employee feedback is the major measurement tool to check that all people are equally informed. If this solution works well, a team starts working under the same principles of communication. The outcome is the absence of tensions within a team and readiness to cooperate. The implementation of communication rules is a solution for a company where no standards have been offered before. The communication strategy in question concerns the active use of digital tools for maintaining the employee-eager dialogue consistent and transparent. Furthermore, the core strategy to be employed in the process of communicating core information will concern the focus on verbal and nonverbal cues. The specified approach will simplify the process of providing core instructions to staff members, as well as offering feedback to managers. In order to implement the specified change, emotional intelligence and cultural competence principles will have to be promoted to staff members and managers.

Another part of the communication strategy will concern introducing staff members and managers to the concept of responsibility in providing feedback and maintaining the dialogue consistent. For this purpose, weekly reports providing detailed assessment of the ore actions taken to maintain the dialogue will be integrated into the corporate framework. The reports in question will offer the data that will inform the further choice of communication approaches to ensure that the process of data management remains consistent across the company.

The communication strategy to be implemented into the target organizational setting will also have to involve visual elements as the shorthand d for conveying core ideas and saving time for the rest of the organisational tasks. The inclusion of visuals will help illustrate the essential concepts and communicate core goals to staff members, as well as explain their role in the corporate environment and completion of the organizational goals. Moreover, visual data will help ensure that all participants perceive the core information properly, and that no ambiguity will emerge in the process. When supported by keynotes summarizing the provided data, the specified strategy will help communicate the critical details to staff managers effectively.

Finally, the issue of remote communication will have to be addressed as one of the essential aspects of the present-day business setting. Due to the transfer to the remote workplace context, managers and employees will experience the lack of opportunities for a more personalized approach to communication, which is why tools ffo0r making the feedback offered to staff members to be as personalized as possible will have to be deployed. The specified framework will involve addressing employee-specific issues in personal communication with the staff, as well as offering feedback regarding each employee’s progress. The proposed techniques will contribute to improved communication within the workplace.

Regular meetings should be added to a working agenda to maintain the team on track and use communication for different purposes. The main measurements for this solution include the desire of employees to communicate, their level of participation, and the content chosen for discussion. Personal observations will be used to gather information and assess if the solution positively affects the company. Finally, the distribution of roles during communication processes should be measured with the help of questionnaires or quizzes. Employees are asked if they understand the responsibility of each team member and what they can do to support team-building. When people are aware of their roles, they face fewer problems in completing tasks and demonstrate high-level performance within the deadlines. It is expected that all employees are free to share their opinions and discuss current issues together by listening to and respecting each other to reveal 100% agreement and satisfaction with the results.
