The author lists six functions that a successful manager must master. Particular attention should be paid to the aspect of communication with colleagues and partners in order to ensure the normal functioning of processes. This function applies to me and my work because it allows me to coordinate the team’s actions and control the process. Communication is critical at the stage of disagreements and finding a compromise.

Management is a complex process that requires a coordinated interaction of its aspects. In the book “Winnie-the-Pooh on Management,” the author says that goal setting, organization, motivation, people development, communication, and analysis are necessary for a manager’s activities (Allen, 1994). Communication is essential to my work because good interaction makes all other aspects work. Proper communication ensures a solution and team agreement when disagreements and conflicts arise. It allows one to resolve and prevent the contradictions in the group. Additionally, communication enables productive interaction and helps achieve the desired results faster. Building a constructive dialogue applies to me and my work because it helps to establish contact with all links and gain optimal control over them.

In conclusion, Winnie-the-Pooh on Management offers an exciting and entertaining presentation of important information. The author considers six functions of a manager necessary for a production process. Although management requires the proper interaction of many aspects, communication is critical. The team can prevent and resolve conflicts thanks to communication, while the manager controls the situation and adjusts the process. This feature applies to me and my work as I strive to bring a team together around a common goal.
